President, Founder Gina began her training at the age of 8 with Dan & Company Studios of Tucker and Dunwoody. For 15 years she performed as a principal dancer with the Atlanta Jazz Theatre, under the direction of Dan and Ronda Youmans. There, she studied with nationally renowned teachers and choreographers. Gina also studied in New York under such notables as Charles Kelly, Frank Hatchet, Don Farnsworth, Patricia Dickenson, Luigi, and Phil Black.Gina has achieved numerous and extensive professional credits beginning at the age of 14. Her professional credits include: The Atlanta Jazz Theatre, Gwinnett Ballet Theatre, Cumming Ballet Company, Georgia Governor’s Honors Dance Program, Athens Dance Academy, Lead dancer – 1981 Emmy Awards, Starlight Productions, Six Flags Over Georgia, TV commercials, and modeling. North Carolina credits include The Ballet School of Charlotte, Gaston Dance Center, and Gaston Dance Theatre. Gina operates her company and oversees several CMD Franchisees at over 400 on-site locations in Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. She is noted as a genius with her outstanding program for the young dancer throughout the Southeast. Gina produced her first original Ballet CD “Ballerinas on the Move” in 2005. She recently founded CMD’s newest sports fitness program, Soccer Champs, and released another CMD program in 2009, titled “Mother Goose”, for early movement. In addition to instructional programs, CMD offers the convenience of purchasing dancewear online, which Gina started in 2008, specializing in small sizes for the young dancer. She is also registered as a national recipient of the prestigious D.A.R. award.
Richard attended the University of Georgia, and spent many years in the corporate world, primarily in the lighting industry as a lighting efficiency expert for Sylvania. He also helped usher in the advent of LED’s for multiple companies in the early stages of adoption from 2008-2012. Richard has been involved with CMD from the beginning – mostly in the background during his other careers. He joined CMD full time in 2012, and manages the website, accounting, franchising, legal and contract issues, IT, insurance, office systems, CRM, as well as policies and procedures.
Ryan is a graduate of Hebron Academy. He went on to attend University of North Georgia and Young Harris, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Ryan worked in the insurance industry for some time before he decided to join CMD. He has become invaluable, handling most of our office day to day processes, with precision and great attention to detail.
After School Specialist Keisha has become an extremely valuable asset for CMD over the years. She is not only an accomplished and degreed dancer, and wonderful with the children, but always exemplified the professionalism that CMD strives for. She has become an integral part of our training program. Recognizing her talents, CMD has now entrusted her with creating the syllabus for our After School Program, for elementary schools. Keisha Laren Clarke Gray is of Jamaican descent, from Brooklyn, N. Y. She graduated from CalArts with a BFA in Dance, and is a Performing Artist, Choreographer and Instructor. She was Dance Captain/ Swing with The Lion King on Broadway and The National Tour. She toured worldwide w/ Garth Fagan Dance and Lula Washington Dance Theatre. Keisha’s other training includes London Contemporary Dance School, Alvin Ailey American Dance Center and Gotta Dance Inc. She is the Director of Shine Your Light dance ministry. Kristi-Ann was an instructor for CMD, and always impressed from the beginning. In addition to being a very talented dancer and teacher, and wonderful with the students, her organization and business knowledge make her an awesome resource as a Quality Control representative for CMD. She understands our principles, and works diligently to ensure all instructors adhere to them. She continues to teach a few class, but is mostly assigned to work with our newer instructors, to help train and mentor them. She joined her first dance class at the age of five. In her high school years she joined the majorette dance team, and taught liturgical dance to young girls in her church. When Kristi-Ann went to college, she became a member of Karizma Dancers, Inc., and is still a member today. She received her Masters in Public Administration at Clark Atlanta University. Kristi fuses her degrees in psychology, public administration, and teaching elementary education, with her love of people, on a daily basis. Kristi-Ann has choreographed and danced for local Atlanta artists, and worked with Atlanta dance companies like glo atl and T. Lang Dance.
