Guajardo, Maggie

Maggie began dancing at the age of four. She studied ballet, jazz, tap and lyrical under the instruction of Laura Soles in Dublin, Georgia. After high school, Maggie attended Valdosta State University, where she graduated in 2009 Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance. She then moved to Orlando and worked at Disney World and Universal Studios as a performer and dancer. While in Orlando, she was an instructor at Kidzdance Inc., and served as Director of Dance at First United Methodist Church of Winter Park. Maggie was then hired by Feld Entertainment to perform for Disney Live, which gave her the opportunity to perform in nine countries. After Disney Live, she moved to New Jersey and held the position of Managing Director of Dance New Jersey. Her recent move to Decatur, Georgia with her husband and son has brought her back to her home state. She is excited to join the teaching staff at Creative Movement and Dance.
