Katie Jovel found her love for dancing in Edison, New Jersey. Katie has trained in ballet since the age of seven. She then experimented with her different genres and style of dance, and started to find her love for hip hop as well. After many years of dancing hip hop, she was inspired by her older sister to start Latin dance, including Salsa, Bachata, and Samba. She trained at Discovery High School with Modern, Contemporary, Ballet, and Hip Hop dance. She is admired and loved by many. Katie is a true performer, and receives amazing feedback from her solos and choreography pieces. She is amazing with kids and teaches them with true joy, passion, love, and most of all fun! She has been teaching young children how to dance since January 2023. Katie’s true passion of dancing and sharing her knowledge to the world is the greatest blessing she has ever experienced.
