Leary, Kyla

Since she was young, Kyla could never sit still—always moving, always creating, and constantly drawn to the rhythm and expression of the arts. That natural energy and creative curiosity led her to discover her passion for dance at the age of 14, when she began her journey as a freshman at Archer High School. What started as an exploration quickly turned into a lifelong love. Before her senior year, Kyla attended a summer intensive with Unstoppable Dance Company—an experience that opened the door to her first formal studio training. It was there that she began building the technical foundation that would shape her, as both a dancer and an artist. Since then, Kyla has found her dance home at Gwinnett School of Dance, where she continues to train and grow in the disciplines of ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, and tap. Over the past 8 years, dance has not only become a central part of Kyla’s life—it has become a way she connects, expresses, and inspires. As an instructor, Kyla is passionate about helping young dancers find their own voice through movement, just as she did. She believes in creating a space where creativity, discipline, and joy come together—because dance is more than just steps; it’s a way of life.
