Michayla Parsons is an Atlanta native, who began her dance journey at 8 years old competing with Just Dance Studio in Douglasville, GA. She competed until the COVID-19 pandemic started and all local competitions were postponed. In the same year of 2020, Michayla started her undergraduate education at The University of Georgia (UGA) in Athens hoping to obtain a bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Science. She continued her dance career throughout college teaching both adult and child classes in jazz, hip-hop, contemporary and modern. In her final year at UGA, Michayla became president of an on campus dance company known as Pamoja. Following this, she also became a member of the Atlanta Dream’s Hype Squad dance team for the WNBA. Michayla has several years of teaching experience and enjoys the wonderment that is kids learning the art of dance.
