Wiley, Anna

Anna Wiley began her passion for dance at the age of three. She is from West Palm Beach, Florida. Anna started her training at the Dance Arts Conservatory, and studied there for many years. She then continued her training at Boca Ballet Theatre under the direction of Dan Guin and Jane Tyree, from middle to high school. After graduation, Anna chose to pursue dance as a collegiate career at New World School of the Arts in Miami, Fl. After 2 years, she transferred to the University of Florida to further her studies. At UF she has had the opportunity to pursue the Dance in Medicine certificate, and has been very fortunate to broaden her understanding of how to utilize dance to different populations. Anna has performed works by Larry Albright, Robert Battle, Rena Butler, Huiwang Zhang, Gentry George, Anne Teresa De Keersmaker, Christa Sylla, and many more. She also has done summer intensives at Boca Ballet, Alvin Ailey, Limon, MoBBallet: Choreographers’ Pathway to Performance, and UF. Anna holds a BFA degree in dance, a minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and a Dance in Medicine certificate from University of Florida. She gives all glory and credit to Jesus. Anna is grateful for faith, family, and friends. Psalms 30:11.
