Maria began dancing ballet at the age of four, with Duluth School of Ballet. In high school, she was one of the founding members of Marist Dance Company, where she extended her training to include jazz and contemporary. While studying at UGA, Maria joined DanceFX, where she performed with contemporary, salsa, hip hop, and heels companies. This gave her the opportunity to train extensively in these styles and perform around Athens and Atlanta, including the halftime show for Super Bowl LIII. In addition to performing, Maria has taught and choreographed for adults, children, and senior citizens. She loves sharing her passion for dance with her students and watching them grow!
